For ladies who have been on Lo Estrin 24....?
Okay, so this is my third month on Lo Estrin 24. I was put on it to help with my endometriosis symptoms. The first two months went smoothly with no problems, my pain was nearly gone and my periods were super light. No spotting or anything. And in fact my last period about a week and a half ago was almost non-existent! But starting about 3 days ago I began to experience spotting. I've never had that before and I've switched birth controls a couple times over the last 4 years. At first I figured it'd be done, but it isn't. I'm still bleeding. It's heavier than my last period and my next period isn't due for about two weeks. I know spotting is a common symptom on this birth control, but I didn't think that it would be worse than the actual period! I've taken my pill every day, on time. Has anyone else experienced this on Lo Estrin 24? If so how long did it take for it to regulate? Should I bother to call my doctor or wait it out?
