is there any way to register an apple itunes account without a credit card?

trying to make an apple account through itunes and ive filled eveything out except the visa number bit? maybe is there like a dummy number? thanx. ive tryed leaving the credit card details blank and clicking continue but then it comes back up and says credit card number is not valid or what ever.
