I hired Lexington Law to fix my credit and they dropped me when I moved to Louisiana. Why?
I have had Lexington Law disputing my credit reports for almost a year and when i moved to Louisiana they wouldn't do anything for me. Is there a company that will? i really need to fix my credit. i went from 510 to 600 in 11 months with Lexington Law and really looking forward to 700. where do i go for a Louisiana resident? It is unfortunate, but the reason you were unable to continue using Lexington Law is because Lousiana state law makes it illegal for credit repair companies to help Lousiana residents. This law was passed to prevent people from getting taken advantage of after the hurricanes, but as you experienced it has also prevented people from working with legitimate credit repair firms like Lexington Law. Hopefully this law will be corrected soon so you can start working with Lexington Law again and see how high your credit score can go.
Lexington Law has recently begun operating in Louisiana again so I'd contact them to see if you can resume your service.
