For anyone that has Allstate insurance, will a speeding ticket make my rates increase?

I've gotten 2 speeding tickets in the matter of 2 months and am wondering if that will make my monthly payments for car insurance go up? I have Allstate insurance. Thank you for any and all help!

1) When your policy renews, you'll see that rate increase - if Allstate flat out doesn't cancel you.

2) Call them and ask them for their surcharge schedule. They are required to give this to you per law in most states. In the surcharge schedule, look up the factor listed for 1 moving violation. Typically, unless your were driving recklessly, this is considered as 1 minor. I looked up the Allstate insurance surcharge schedule in Minnesota and it has a 1,06 in the table. This means they will increase your rate by about 6% for the first minor ticket. A second one adds another 21%! It adds up fast , so start driving slower! So, expect your rates to rise by about 20-30%. Eventually, they will run a DMV report and raise your rate. Probably before your next renewal. Slow down! It's not worth it.. I don't think they'll drop you over two tickets unless you were also driving recklessly or charged with a DUI.
